As a multi-disciplinary artist, I work in the mediums of fiber art, sculpture, and installation. I collaborate with the community through performance art and public craft projects. What unifies my diverse artistic practice is the use of reclaimed textiles. I thrives on redirecting the original purpose of material and recontextualizing it through a conceptual idea. Themes in my work are based on our collective experiences of communication, text and word play. I also explore human anatomical systems and cellular structures in the creation of soft sculptures. Equally as important as material and texture are to my art production, public intervention has played an important part in the dissemination of my work.
